By using Anush, you agree to the few quiet things below.

What Anush is

Anush is an app that generates a reflective reading from photos of the grounds at the bottom of your coffee cup. The readings are created by an AI model trained on language, not by a human reader and not by divination of any kind.

What Anush is not

Anush does not predict the future. It does not provide medical, financial, legal, psychological, or professional advice of any kind. Readings are written for reflection and warmth — read them the way you would read a poem from a relative.

Account

You sign in with Apple, Google, or your email. You agree that the account is yours and that the contact information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for maintaining access to that account.

Acceptable use

Don't use Anush to generate or share content that is harmful, illegal, hateful, or invasive of others' privacy. Don't try to break into the system. Be kind to the cup.

Intellectual property

The Anush brand, the Codex II design system, the reading prompt, and the app's code are owned by the developer of Anush. Your individual readings — the words generated for your specific cup — are yours to keep, share, screenshot, print, embroider, or quote. Because readings are generated by an AI model, they may not qualify for copyright protection under current law. You use them as you wish, but we make no representation about their legal protectability.

Termination

We can suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings tab in the app, or by emailing hello@anushcoffee.com.

Disclaimers

ANUSH IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY READING WILL BE ACCURATE, MEANINGFUL, OR RELEVANT.

Readings are generated by a third-party AI model and may contain errors, nonsensical statements, or content that does not reflect reality. Do not rely on any reading for any decision of any kind.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER OF ANUSH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO USE ANUSH IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR TEN DOLLARS (US $10.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer of Anush from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the app, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

Dispute resolution

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Anush shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of JAMS in the State of California, rather than in court. You and the developer each waive any right to a jury trial. You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, both parties waive any right to a jury trial.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining terms remain in full force and effect.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding Anush and supersede any prior agreements.

Changes

If these terms change meaningfully, we will note it at the top of this page with a new effective date.
